Wedding Car Hire in Groningen: What Does It Cost?

The rental price varies per car and starts at €175 for a day. The standard rental period runs from 09:00 to 18:00. The first 150 kilometers are included in the price. Doesn’t this time window fit your schedule? No problem — we’re happy to make other arrangements. For your convenience and peace of mind, all cars are fully insured (all-risk) with an excess of €500.

Are the cars insured?

Yes, all cars are fully insured (all-risk) with an excess of €500. So you can drive with peace of mind on your wedding day.

Where are you located and do you also deliver?

We are located in Groningen. You can pick up the car from us, but we can also deliver it to your home. The delivery costs are €75 + €0.75 per kilometer. We serve Groningen and the rest of the North of the Netherlands, including Drenthe and Friesland.

Can someone other than the wedding couple drive the wedding car?

Yes, that is possible. For example, if you want a friend or family member to drive, that’s no problem. The driver must be at least 23 years old and in possession of a valid driver’s license.

What about bad weather?

Most of our wedding cars have a roof or hood that can be closed. The convertibles have a sturdy fabric roof. In extreme weather conditions we can always arrange an alternative car in consultation.

Is electric driving suitable for wedding photos?

Absolutely! The electric Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet is even ideal for photos and videos. Because the car is so quiet, the photographer can give you instructions more easily and you won’t hear engine noise on the videos. Visually there is no difference from a classic Beetle — it’s classic on the outside, modern on the inside.
